Arizona Codes is a state-wide initiative that is focused on providing opportunities for all students to earn industry-based certifications and prepare to compete for Arizona’s high-demand software development jobs directly from high school. Please see attached summary on Arizona Codes.

As announced at the end of October, ABEC is excited to welcome TechSmart as an ABEC partner.   They have successfully engaged multiple Arizona school districts in this effort already and have, in some cases, been able to provide grant funding to cover some or even all costs. As part of our partnership with TechSmart and Arizona Codes, we are hosting two Arizona Codes Informational Sessions during the week of December 6^th to provide additional information on this exciting project.

During these sessions, Bruce Levin (Founder and CEO of TechSmart) will provide an overview of Arizona Codes, the career opportunity for students in Arizona’s rapidly growing software industry, and discuss how your district can participate in this initiative during the 22-23 school year.
