David Livingston

Dr. David Livingston joined Mid-continent Research in Education and Learning (McREL), in June, 2005, as Principal Consultant. Prior to that, his thirty-seven year practitioner career included ten years of classroom teaching, twenty years as an elementary principal, and seven years as Executive Director of Elementary Education for the Cherry Creek (CO) Schools. David's responsibilities with McREL include Balanced Leadership� program and materials development as well as professional development training in district-level and school-level leadership throughout the United States.

David holds a PhD in History and Philosophy of Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a masters' degree in Urban Education from Roosevelt University in Chicago. His undergraduate degree in Literature is from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL.
